Accreditations

Universidad del Pacífico's sound academic background is supported by international standards in terms of teaching, as well as research. Its high educational level has allowed it to be certified by two prestigious associations: Association of MBAs (AMBA) and The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB).

AACSB

What is AACSB?

Founded in 1916, the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) gathers educational institutions, corporations and other organizations dedicated to the promotion and improvement of business education. AACSB provides internationally recognized, specialized accreditation for business programs at the bachelor’s, master and doctoral levels.

By 2001, the AACSB had accredited a total of 405 institutions: 391 in North America (382 in the United States, seven in Canada and two in Mexico), seven in Europe, three in Asia, one in the Middle East, one in Central America and two in South America.

The growing membership outside the United States (180 universities in six continents) represents a new challenge to improve information, training and relations for business faculty.

How long has Universidad del Pacífico had this accreditation?

In 2011, Universidad del Pacífico became the first Peruvian university to be accredited by the AACSB at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. This recognition places the University as part of the 5% of universities and business schools accredited by this entity, which makes them leading institutions worldwide.
