The course on consumers in retail provides knowledge about consumer behavior in different types of retail, such as stores and supermarkets, as well as ways for retailers to persuade consumers to buy their products. The course also serves to help students, as consumers, learn how to defend themselves against persuasive retail tactics. Finally, the course will provide students with the opportunity to do practical work in a retailer, diagnosing the retailer’s reality and suggesting improvements based on the knowledge acquired in the course.
