The psychological insights are particularly useful for marketing strategy, brand positioning, and marketing communication decisions, but also yield insight into common biases in judgment and decision-making, beyond marketing, to which you would otherwise fall prey. This course aims to highlight the latest advances in customer insights and analytics and to understand the benefits and limitations of various approaches. Students will learn how to translate business problems into research questions, how to evaluate and implement appropriate research designs, and how to generate marketing insights from online and offline data.

países en desarrollo muestra unos bajos niveles de competitividad internacional
respecto de los países desarrollados. La competitividad internacional se
refiere a la capacidad que tienen los países para crear bienes y servicios que
compitan globalmente, al tiempo que mantienen un entorno favorable, el cual
permita competir a sus empresas internacionalmente, manteniendo de esa manera
estándares de vida elevados. Teniendo en
cuenta, la alta complejidad y, habida cuenta de que, la competitividad
internacional hace referencia, por un lado, al potencial de las industrias y
empresas nacionales, y por otro, al potencial de los países. Por tanto, la
presente asignatura profundizará en el conocimiento de la competitividad
internacional desde una triple perspectiva, es decir, país, industria y empresa.

In this course, students
will examine the past, current, and future conditions of the global sport media
nexus. They will consider the evolution of the relationship on different media
channels, from legacy (analogue) media to new (digital) media. The disruptive
nature of new media technologies such as the Internet will be analysed and how
those impact the once-sedimented symbiotic relationship between sport and
media. Particularly attention will be given to how the emergence and
consolidation of platforms – and the wider processes of platformisation – in
the sport media nexus has transformed the spectacular consumption and
production circuits in sport.
